WHAT DO YOU BELIEVE IS THE MOST MISUNDERSTOOD ASPECT OF BEING A BLACK MAN?
I believe the most misunderstood aspect of being a Black man is the complexity of our experiences. Society often reduces us to stereotypes, overlooking our vulnerability, creativity, and emotional depth. There’s a perception that we must always be strong and resilient, but this overlooks our need for space to express ourselves fully and authentically, beyond the labels placed on us.

SHARE A STORY OR EXPERIENCE THAT DEFINES YOUR JOURNEY AS A BLACK MAN.
One defining experience in my journey as a Black man was the moment I realized the power of representation. Growing up, I often saw limited examples of people who looked like me in positions of success and creativity. It wasn’t until I was cast in a leading role and stood on that stage, fully owning my talent, that I truly felt seen. In that moment, I understood that my presence and passion could break barriers, not just for myself, but for others who might feel overlooked. It was a powerful reminder that my journey is about more than just personal achievement - it’s about inspiring and paving the way for those who come after me.
