STORY OR EXPERIENCE THAT DEFINED YOUR JOURNEY AS A BLACK MAN?
I lost my father at a young age. Found him dead from a heart attack at 16. My mom sought a therapist for me. After a session I realized that the therapist wasn’t a good fit and that I needed a therapist who looked liked me. I decided to become a therapist that looked like me to help other Black and brown boys have a safe space in which to be vulnerable.
